300.00 was from a dealer. that is alot better price. i think that would look good in my red car. i took all the stuff off had just a black grill in my 67 and i loved that look. i might have to give it a try one day.

Then again, maybe its time for me to take up where the last guys left off and put some real GT fog lamps into a real v6 grille...

these guys seem to have done the research on alt grills for the v-6 one guy has the link to the "v-6 gt grill"

I have to go to the dealer and look at the bullitts again before they all sell out lol he has like 4 or 5 last time i was there. Maybe i can get him to sell me a bullitt strut brace cheap .

hey nice job man, about 6 months ago i did the not so simple task of shoving a gt grill into my v6 bumper. you got a nice lookin car as well. if you are really bothered that much by the overhang there is a way to make it almost disappear but it takes awhile and isn't easy. what i did was make small cuts with a razor blade in certain parts of the bumper then i took a belt sander and grinded down the grill a bit on the sides and towards the back. then i had my friend push the grill as far down and back as possible while i put a screw in through the bottom. surprisingly through all of that it looks near perfect, there is no overhang, you can't see the screw, can't see any cuts, and the radiator cover still fits. and i'm happy

all in all it took me about 6 hours....
