i installed the demon coil and live wires yesterday. i was hoping they were yellow silicone wires, but instead have a some sort of yellow nylon sock over them. it made it really hard to get them into the wire seporators, but they did go in. i`m thinking about cutting the covers at the wire clips,,has anyone else done that? i had just put motocraft platinums in it a couple months ago so i didnt change the plugs but i did open the gap to.065.( i was told i didnt need to gap those plugs) need to keep your hands really clean to not mess them yellow covers up. i must say though today i could feel a difference. its faster responding, and i can feel it pull more puttin it to the floor. it also seemed to make the exaust just a little louder. my milage wil be crap this week, but next week i`ll see if it helped any.

way cool, hey, you should go with the bosch platinum fussion +4. they are already pregaped at .065, i felt an increase from that aswell. i ended up going with the msd super conductor wires for mine. after hours of research i found them to have the lowest resistance, less than 50 per foot. i know i couldn't be happier with mine. congrats!
i might look for those bosch plugs. when i went to oreillys to get the plugs, i wanted the bosch plug that dont have a gap. they werent available, but they had the motocraft platinums. i might try those wires too next year. do those wires have the jacket on them?

i had autozone order them for me to save on shipping and handling.
go to AutoZone.com | Shopping | Parts | |
and it can tell you all about them. these are the best that i could find after hours of searching .
so would you guys suggest that both are a good investment along with the new plugs? as far as was it all worth it? ive never really looked into this as an upgrade yet so, just expanding my horizon when i stumble into some loose cash, haha

the install is 4 bolts right on top for the coil. the hardest part of it is changing the plugs, and routing the wires,,,so its pretty easy.
coot i dont know on the milage. i drive 40 miles a day. 50%highway,50% 35mph,stop and go. i usually average 19 mpg. after going dual exaust,k&n drop in filter, new plugs, week before last i got 22mpg, thats the best ive got yet. last week i put the coil and wires on, but ran it kinda hard, was back to 19 last week. i`m gonna try to take it easy this week and see what i get with the coil and wires. i havent had enough highway use to see what it will do just highway. mpg has not been to great for me but its the same i got out of a pt cruiser 4 cyl, and that was not near as much fun driving.
