0-60 times vary a lot, i know stock SAYS 6.9 seconds, but mine was always around 6.3, now im at about 5.7
i know 05horse 0-60 is around 5 flat now, so those vary a lot

i know my stock 3.31's are pretty quick from 0 to 60 but wouldnt mind having the 3.73's. dont really see the point of 4.10's on a v6 unless you are running a supercharger or turbo charger just not enough horsepower being put out by bolt on performances

with a TC or SC you want 3.73 (3.90 max) but some use 4.10
3.73 is a great gear it wont wind up on highway, wind out through the gears, and is a happy medium between accel and fuel.
IMO4.10s are too high, im glad i dident go 4.10

05stangv6, the whole point of getting steeper gears is because you dont have enough power to turn lower gears fast enough. anything higher than 4.10 with a TC or SC and the gears would be useless

Silver: I have a slip that shows a 15.0 even, with stock gears, a tune and dual exhaust. I am NOT a pro driver, so I gotta wonder where your #'s came from on that "pro driver 15.2" stat? Even when I ran the 15 flat, I know I could have done better, cuz that was with some wheel spin off the line. (I never did BETTER that day, cuz my wheel spin got WORSE not better)
I have 4.10's now, and I haven't taken it to the track yet, but I would imagine I am in the 14.5 range now.
I smoked a 04 GT the other day from 0-100, so I am pretty sure it will be considerably quicker than my last 15 flat. We shall see.
There is no magic pill to tell you what gains your car will get though. It truly is a very variable thing that can be very different from one car with the same mods to another.
if you smoked a 04GT i wouldent even touch your car....
i got a ton of bolt ons and still only have a win ratio of 40% on GT's and none by smokeing them.
you got a t loc with them 4.10s? if not you need one.
get some sticky tires.

I won't let your imagination paint to big a picture of my car, I pulled about 1 1/2 cars out in front of him by about 120 feet, and he never gainded that land back we just stayed even and we ran them till I lookd down and saw I hit 100. I call that a smoke, some might just call it a close race

15.2 is for a STOCK car, not just stock gears. he said stock gears, so i assumed a stock car. if you had a supercharger with 3.31's you would not be in the 15's. your car had a exhaust and tune so i would assume your car would be faster, i got my numbers from 2 sources, american muscle, and my mustang book "40 years of fun"

just to clarify Silver, I wasn't putting you down, I'm just thinkin that 15.2 is a touch concervative for the potential of a "best" run for a stock 4.0 mustang. I bet a really good driver could get into the high 14's with a stock setup, and low 14's with lots of bolt ons.
