Recently purchased 07 Mustang v6 with Pony Package. I noticed
an unusual sound while driving home on freeway. When I reached
70mph the sound came from underneath the car kinda a roaring
strong highway noise. Is this normal for the v6 with stock muffler?
Or could it be the not so expensive Goodyear tires that came one it.
It's almost like it hit a 'sweet spot' in the rpm's and developed a
strong humming noise underneath the car..Anyone else notice this?
(or) could it be transmission problems that I should bring to dealer's
attention. Have owned a 1967 restored
stang and a 2000 GT and
never noticed this before. Any advice on smothing the ride out'
or are we stuck with the rear live axle and finding every bump in
the road. *ha),,thanks guys..
