Thats a personal preference. I prefer Royal Purple, others prefer Amsoil, others run whatever is cheapest.

Royal Purple is a very good oil and easy to find, but if you want the good stuff look for REDLINE (white bottle blue label) should be in the neighborhood of $7 a quart. Expensive yeah maybe but when you do your next oil change you'll know what good is. Im running just a little lot more than stock HP but trust me this is the Kool-Aid you want to give to your child (car).
Stl,you talking about the Redline and Royal Purple?I get my Amsoil from a personal friend here in okc for $4 a quart. He's the main dealer in Oklahoma.I still like the MC 5-30 SB.

I find very little value added to spending $8 a quart on oil.
Try running over 650HP on a Naturally Aspirated motor for 3 years and tell me if you wouldn't find using the good stuff is what keeps you consistant and flying. Its almost like saying motor oil is just motor oil, they wouldn't have synthetic blends if that were the case.
