What are the pros and cons of getting a catted midpipe? Should i get a midpipe without cats?

Id have to say sound for 1 ' I had cats on the car before i did my mods and the sound level increased after the o/r hpipe was installed' but then again i have bullit style mufflers on ' it will breath better to.

On the negative side it will smell alot more .

Cons: won't pass emissions, requires a tune to disable the rear oxygen sensors.

I have just install my dual exhaust for the 2nd time (thats another story all together) and don't have cats right now.

Cons: They might eat up a mere 1-2hp
Pros: You won't get $20,000 ticket.
