Question quick question about gt fog lights

im looking in to buying gt fog lights, cutting my grill, mounting them, building a wireing harness etcetc

my question is:

will the fog lights fit in the grill or is the diameter of the fog light to large for the grill?

(i would think they would fit but wanted to make sure)

thx in advance guys

The lens and reflector of the GT fog light sit within a molded area of the GT grille. Unlike an aftermarket fog light, there is no body. You would have to get a GT grille, cut out the portion that holds the lens and the reflector and then somehow graft that plastic onto/into your V6 grille. In the long run, a pony package kit with all of the wiring or an aftermarket kit with the GT style lights will probably be a lot less frustrating with a better end result.

I guess anything can be made to fit with enough time, effort and money. I'm not sure what specific problems you would run into.

I installed the gt grille on my v6 bumper a couple weeks ago and the only hard part was the wiring. installing wasnt to bad. you will have to cut the bumper and grind off alot of the tabs. i grinded off all of them and got where i wanted and screwed in 2 black screws on each side to hold it. you really cant notice until your face is right in front of it. i have pics in my gallery if your curious. it can be done.
