Any Suggestions? What do I need to turbo charge a 2005 mustang V6?

i really like the sound of a turbocharger and was looking on ebay to get all the parts need. what all do i need and what do you prefer? and do i need professional installation?

Well I assume you need a turbo and some tools. I recommend you buy a complete kit that is specifically made for mustangs. There are a couple good kits out there. Xchris is a great help on turbos.

Mustangs don't use chips, they use tuners. If you buy a turbo, you usually have to get a preloaded tune from the turbo designers or you need to have it dyno tuned. The vast majority of people can't tune the vehicles themselves.

you can get a sts turbo kit for about 5 grand and i hear a lot of guys talk about not installing and forced inductions systems after 40000 miles but with resonable boost like 5 to 8 pounds i think it would be safe if you turbo your mustang you can get
<LI class=wiki_listitem>Boost: 7-9 psi <LI class=wiki_listitem>Rear Wheel Horsepower: 313 <LI class=wiki_listitem>Rear Wheel Torque: 326
and thats more rwhp than most modded gt mustangs

the price difference between a new gt and a new 09 v6 is about 7 grand

i say get the turbo charger and use the other two gran to turbo save your motor and have a crazy sleeper
