Default Anyone have a picture of a Snow system installed?

I'm planning to buy a Stage 2 Boost Cooler soon and I'd like to get an idea of where to install everything under the hood, but decent pictures of it installed in a Mustang are hard to find. Anybody seen one?

So you do I see you put your second discharge nozzle directly in front of the S/C inlet, I was imagining it in the u-bend tube, but your way makes more sense. Where did you mount the reservoir?

I have a Stage 3 system on my V6 Mustang. I hid the pump under the air filter in the OEM air box where it gets cooling air and is out of sight. I put the LCD controller on top of the steering column. I use my car's windshield washer tank as the source of the water/alcohol mixture.

Yeah I was considering tapping the windshield reservoir too..it just makes it tricky for tuning. I'm working via VMP and they like to start off with straight water then work up. Draining the windshield reservoir could be a nuisance, especially since I can't see most of it. Maybe I can use the little 3 quart tank until tuning is done....hmm

Use the small tank with clear water for your tune
then transfer the line to the windshield washer fluid tank. The car's tank works great for me.
I would be interested in knowing what PW pulse settings he used on your car and what timing he selected. You can add timing with a global setting or with RPM bands with a SCT tuner. I am using trial and error and my Gtech meter todo a poor man's tune. A professionally done one would get me in the neighborhood quicker. I think I am being too conservative.

You could tap a second hole in the bottom of the tank and install a drain valve.

You want it to spray straight into the compressor.

Didn't notice I got a few more replies, remind me to bug someone about why I'm not getting half my email notifications

While we're on it, does anyone have an opinion about whether the Stage 2 system with it's fancy digital controller and progressive spray is actually worth the extra few hundred? The Stage 1 system operates off a simple pressure switch that triggers at a set boost level while the Stage 2 controller can start slow at a set boost and work its way up to full spray. Sounds like there are possible benefits to that but I haven't seen any actual reviews comparing the two.

The controller gets its information from EFI, Boost or both so you can custom tune it in relation to where you are changing timing so you get the benefits of cooling and more energy in the form of the alcohol. If you plan on going FI in the future you are already equipped to support that without any more goodies for your injection system since you can select boost as part of the feedback to the injection controller module. You can select various types of display to see what is going on in your engine and what the injection controller is doing. You can view pulse width, vacuum/boost and % of pump delivery. If you want to save money go with the simple system if you want control and realtime readout get the LCD controller, I really like mine.( I have the simpler system on my Z06 since the controller was not out yet when I installed it else it would have it also)
