Hey guys, just got my bamachips 91 torque tune... very happy with it, but my friend showed me a listing on ebay for Ford 7.5 3.73 gears... and for 45 bucks! So immediately I called the seller and he told me that his transmission shop has them basically fallin off the shelves. He tells me he's just got too damn many of them, and trying to get rid of these mint condition gears. So... I call my local guy and he quotes me for an install of 250... Not too bad right? BUT!!! and here is the BUT: since i just got my tune (i have the sct x3) from bamachips, do I need to order a whole new tune that involves the new gear ratio? Or can I manually select it on my SCT x3 device and change it no problem without overriding or erasing my beautiful bamachips tune. I assume the tunes can "stack" meaning that I can adjust the ratio and still run the bamachips tune... but im not sure. Any thoughts?

GO to bamachips.com and drop the guy an email.. he is extremely busy, so he will probably not pick up the phone. Make sure you email him what you are looking for in terms of power/ economy. If you want power then a 93 or 91 race tune is great from what i hear. I have the 91 torque tune which shifts power to the lower powerband, and she works pretty swell

haha no prob =) anyone know how the 3.73's do on the gas milage versus the stock gears?
