Default Wheels for a 05 4.0 mustang

I am looking into getting wheels for my '05 mustang. It is my daily driver, so would putting 20s on it be a wise choice or should I go with 18s. I am not going to upgrade the brakes because I will be only running the wheels in the summer.

Subsequently, the car will be driven in the winter. I have 15" factory wheels from my old 2000 3.8 with snow tires on them. Will they cause a problem from switching from a stock 16" wheel to the 15" wheels for the winter?

ive been looking at wheels for the last month or so... i wanted to put a set of 18" chrome cobra wheels from a early 2000 cobra but ended up finding out that the offset is different from the 05. id be careful with your 15s, especially with the brakes, but for sure check the offset. based on other posts, 18 vs 20 seems to be your call. 20s will have less rubber and probably a little rougher ride. i really like how all of the new 18s look, plus it would probably be a better everyday ride. if price is an issue, there are a lot of 17" GT takeoffs that look pretty nice. reguarding winter... ive talked to a couple of guys who've ran their 16s in the winter and say that they work okay (considering rear wheel/light back end). unfortunatly, i have to run mine during the winter too, so thats what im opting to do.

the 24mm offset on the 2000 wheels is too low you wheels will stick out too far from where your fender ends. Then the 15's might not work because they may interfere with the calipers.
