Smile will a shelby gt500 engine fit in a v6

Hey guys does anyone here know if a 2007 shelby gt500 engine would fit in a v6 2006. In 3 years my warranty ends. I will either buy a used shelby 2007 or a 2010 gt , I was wondering if I could just put a 5.4 into a v6 mustang . I have been seeing shelby engines on ebay for 5 grand.

I know I would need to buy the gt500 water pump, upgrade PSI CAI etc but its something to think about.

It'll take a lot of work.

It takes a new tranny, drive shaft, differential and at least a new front suspension.

There's a video on Ford's website about how they shoehorned the 5.4 into the GT. That engine is gee-normous!

Go here: Ford Vehicles
then "Photos and Videos"
then click on the third video. The thumbnail is of a white Cobra on a rack of some sort.

If you can do this, you will have the coolest sleeper ever. Leave the badging alone and maybe get some stickier tires but leave the wheels alone too. Then see if you can sneak up on NGTRNNR some evening. Be sure to wear your hat backwards and lower the seat all the way. BAIT!!! Do not rev your engine or he might hear the supercharger but even so, hopefully he will think it's a supercharged sixer and be interested to see if he can take you [evil laugh].

It's the same chassis.

ANYTHING off any mustang of the same year is doable, provided you've got the patience, tools, &/or cash.
