Default Another Dual setup question. Needed to convert?

Ok, exhaust has always been kind of fuzzy to me. Right now, I have the American thunder axleback and I love the sound. But, if in the future, I want to convert to two american thunders, what will I need? I know that I will need two mufflers, which will have to be the GT setup since they don't make a driver side v6 one. What kind of midpipe would I need? Would just a y-pipe work, or would I need to go into an h-pipe setup?

K i've done a little bit of research on the matter based on the fact that I plan to go duals soon myself. I *think* depending on the company, not sure about Flowmaster, you might be able to buy the left (drivers) side muffler from the GT kit separately so you dont have to buy an additional passenger side one. The passenger side one should be the same for the v6 and GT kits.

There are some companies that make Y pipes that attach to your current Y pipe to go to your mufflers, as far as I know these work just fine. Have a local muffler shop fab you up a custom mid-pipe, and if you want to go H, ask them to do that too. Shouldn't cost more than $250 from what I hear.

Alrighty, after looking underneath the car, I think I understand. So, drop the y-pipe and go just midpipes to each side of the car and hang the mufflers? I have another AT, I just need have a shop get it together for me.
