C&L Intake With Bama Tunes. How Do You Set Up Custom Tune Files?
i just installed my c&l intake with bama tunes, 87, 93 performance, and 93 torque. my question is when you load the custom tune files it asks do you want to change preferences or values or something like that. when you go into the screen it gives you options to advance spark timing, etc. and the values that its at is like 0 degrees for example. do you not mess with that because its already tuned out to the proper values? by the way i have the new sct x3.

I have the sct2 but reformatted it when I got the custom tune from VMP,it asked the same questions about values. I didnt change anything in that department, except the gear ratio to 3:73. That is supposed to recalibrate the speedometer. Everyhting worked fine witht loading the custom tune.
P.S. I am checking into the gear problem,,,as soon as he call me back
Don't mess with the options. Doug at bamachips has set up everything you need. He leaves the options open for you so that you can change things in the future if you want to - tire size, shift firmness, etc.
Get the race tune. I like it better than the performance or torque tunes.

i was thinking just leave it alone. i did the right thing, thanks anyway guys. the 93 torque tune really puts down some power off the line. i havent tried the 93 performance yet.
