Ok i got my car last yr in July and ive gotten sick and tired of the old stock look. i have a 2006 tungsten Grey v6(obviously thats y im in this forum) mustang w/ the black mustang stripes on the side. i just joined this forum and ive gotten plenty of ideas for it and i really would like your opinions. ive had so many friends rag on me b/c i got the v6 and not the GT and im thinking about modifying my cars look. First of all im gonna change both the front and rear bumpers to the GT models and obviously do the dual exhaust. im thinking about putting the angel eyes fog light kit along w/ the the LED projector headlights. sequential tail lights, gt emblems on the sides of the car, changing the rear badge. i wanna tint my windows but im not sure how dark i should go and i am definitely putting 20" staggered black bullet wheels on it tho. one close friend of mine says that the projector headlights w/ the angel eye fog lights will b to many circles so idk and im not sure if the quarter window covers. like i said tell me wat u guys would and wat to do first. thanks i really appreciate the help.

Sounds good except for the gt emblems. Be proud of the V6, besides if you think its bad because you have "just a v6" see what it will be like if you put GT on the side of it . I want to do the gt fenders aswell but I think putting gt on the side of a v6 is being very poser-ish. just make the v6 look better than their gt's and have fun with it. now dont get me wrong I am a newbie to in fact i am still a month away from getting my stang but I just see it as a pride thing, and the pony emblem looks better than the GT personally .

Maybe a 4.0 badge would be a better idea but its your choice. But best of luck the gt kits are really cheap online.

As far as first mod, I would say your exhaust, it will give a new fell to the car and just cut the stock bumper. see how you like it then go to the gt fenders.

i c where ur coming from, but the thing is i cant find a 4.0 one. i find 4.6 and 5.4 but they say supercharged and turbocharged and mine isnt....YET!!!! but ya...

I have an 06' V6 and I've put the money into performance upgrades (suspension, Bama combo kit, stress bar, 17" GT wheels) and love the car for what it is - a very quick convertible w/ an understated, stealth-like appearence. So, I say, spend the money on more "go" than "show" and who cares what others may think. In fact, you'll get compliments for not being a "poser".

Heres my thoughts.. DONT get a GT or Snake on the side..

Get the 4.0 Emblem that the guy above showed you.. i think thats badass.. i want to get the 4.6L emblem for my GT.. but as for looks, get the exhaust, id say- maybe a chin spoiler from CDC ? lower it? and new wheels? Get some stripes??

Is your car stick? If so, for the performance part of it.. get CAI + Tuner, and a Hurst Shifter.. thatd be my way of doing it.. just my .02 cents..

na its auto.... o and i think those emblems r hot. for sure screw the GT 1s then. but there still lays the head light and fog light issue. i was thinking that i could smoke all the lights out (including the fog lights) get HIDs for the headlights and the normal white ones for the fog lights and the 4.0 emblems and the new wheels keep the sequential, keep the dual exhaust but i still am a little bummed about the whole GT fenders. i would get and aftermarket body kit but there all so BOOM!!! in ur face, kno wat i mean? if i were to get something like that it would have to b very subtle and stylish. and i definitely dont wanna b a poser or ricer or w/e but the thing is that these mods r gonna b a gift from another person towards me and theyre not letting me get and engine mods. those r gonna have to come out of my pocket... which is pretty empty right now due to a MUSTANG and an 18 yr old.

yeahh, i feel yah.. im turning 19 on the 21st of October.. but all mods come out of my pocket.. so it takes time.. but def get those 4.0 emblems.. shits gangsta.. but what colors your car?? id say smoke your lights.. i did my side markers and turn signals.. check my gallery..

well just IMO but i think some hot new wheels make a big difference in a appearance, if thats what your going for. They are probably more pricey than the the bumpers and lights.

it all just comes down to your own taste. look at pictures from shows with your color car and see what looks the best to you

i have limozine tint and it looks great on the white, im sure it would look good on your grey even more so with black rims.

you can buy tint and D.I.Y. but i'de go to a local shop they can help you with what % tint you want and all of that. just dont get some cheap crap or your black and grey theme will be black, grey, and purple
