Mustang GT... Knight Rider hood lights for the GT500KR style hood

Hey all, I have the GT500KR style hood on order, and was wondering if anybody has seen or knows if the Knight Rider hood lights are for sale anywhere. I think that would be sweet to install...

I'm sure it's a custom Hollywood job. However, flashing red lights on the front of your car is just one more reason for the cops to pull you over.

I would never put neons on the stang, but you guys dont think the chasers in the hood scoops would be sweet? Hmmmm....

I guess I wont then...they would probably cost a ton of money anyway.

ok guys...I have only seen them on 2 cars. The original Knight Rider and the new Knight Rider; both American muscle cars. Where are the ricer comparisons coming from? Haven't seen them on one ricer...just curious. I understand about neons and the windshield washer lights.

In most states any flashing, strobing or oscillating red or blue lights is illegal.

And I was pulled over in the early 90's for having the "eye" in the front grill of my '86 mustang.

Wouldn't be the first time. Saw an S197 earlier this week with blue neons underneath. Blecch.

And the dude driving it was definitely old enough to know better.

However, I DO plan on adding some LEDs under the hood once I get everything else the way I want. But I'm building a Transformer, so cheese is okay.
