Yeah, not a good feeling. The other guy hit me so hard it pushed me into the vehicle in front of me. Now it needs a new hood, front bumper, rear bumper, mufflers, and exhaust pipes. To top it off the dude that hit me did not have insurance and he says he is not responsible for the front end damage of my car. Just venting, pics to come soon. Take it easy all. -Jose-
Boy, he seems awfully sure of liability for someone who doesn't have insurance. I got hit by someone who didn't have insurance, once. Luckily, we have an uninsured motorist program.
Glad you weren't hurt, other than emotionally.

Man what an a$$ you think he would feel sorry for ruining your car when he is completely at fault for everything. People really suck sometimes. I hate seeing these threads, I hope everything works out for you and you get everything you deserve to fix your car. Good luck, keep us posted.

It would appear California is a Compulsory Insurance state and I would imagine if the Police were called they have made note the driver did not have insurance. Sometimes here in Florida they not only do not have insurance, but a relative or someone else owns the car. I am not an insurance person, but I think your insurance company is responsible for the car "you" hit, regardless of the reason it happened.
I always dred the day that if and when (hopefully never ) that i get hit by a guy with no insurance. In NJ alone there are over 1 million ppl without auto insurance. I think they should be put into jail. Why do i have to go through all of this pain, agony, and spend all of this money to fix my car that YOU broke, and YOU were being cheap and irresponsible by not having insurance.
I hope they throw the book at this guy and give him a swift kick in the you-know-what

luckily florida policies (full cover,dont know bout the other ones), cover you in case u get hit by an uninsured driver. But that fear of gettin hit by someone without insurance is very very real (where I live there are tons of people without insurance and u can almost always tell from just looking at them and how they drive).
