As many on the forum will know, i have been saving for a Kenne Bell Blower, and Forged Internals.. I have come to realize something, its alot of money for me to save up, and all the sacrifices just isnt worth it right now. I have the option of either A) Moving out for my next years of college coming up, or B) do my work on my car..
Was a very hard choice, the fact i had 2,000 dollars saved up already.. which took alot of sacrificing, saving etc.. anyhow- I have made the choice to not buy the KB or do internal work anymore.. I will start up with the saving once i get through the next years of college.. I am not putting a time frame on when i want it, because i will only let myself down.
I still want to do it very bad, but come to realize- I will always have this car (unless i die) god forbid, but the chance to move out into my best friends new 4 bedroom house is something that happens once..
So my mod list has cut down a bit.. Just doing a little things here and there..
Ordered The following Black Taillight Tint
and Ordering later today FRPP 3.73 Gears and Master Bearing Kit
Steeda UDP's
Eibach Pro Kit
Camber Bolts
Brake Caliper Paint Kit (black)
Plan on doing bolt ons to keep me satisfied here and there.. but mainly all the money i have is going to move out..
Let me know what you guys think, if i made the right choices..
also is that a good list?

Your sig indicates you have an '06 GT so you already have 3.55 gears and 3.73s will not give you much. IMO, go for 4.10s until you get the S/C down the road. Also consider some suspension mods. I understand money is the issue, so at least get adjustable LCAs to control your launches better and still be able to adjust pinion angle after the eibach pro kit is installed (and eliminate wheel hop).

I like your priorities, Rob.
Living your life should come first.
The Mustang is just an enhancement to your life.
Thanks man, its so true.. I have finally come to see the light
Still have the same dreams/goals for the power of the car, but when im older and have money to toy with- then ill do it.. why ruin my fun in life now? 19yrs old is the time to enjoy it to the fullest!
Thanks, but RedFire281- my gears are the stock 3.31's because its an auto.. i didnt special order the car so it wasnt an option for 3.55's..

RetroGT2006 - 3.31 gears became standard in 2007. For 2005 and 2006, I believe, 3.55 gears were stock in GTs irrespective of whether it was an auto or manual.

When i bought the car, i figured it was 3.31's due to not having it on the build list.. and when i had it tuned, i told Evo Perf that i had 3.31's.. and i just double checked under the car to make sure i wasnt wrong.. and on the differential, it states " Synthetic Lube Only", and under it- it says "3.31's"..
I def heard what u meant, id hate to have 3.55's n not kno it, and go to 3.73's lol.. thatd b a waste.. thanks for double checking with me.
Man, im about to order my stuff, but i dont know if i should include the UDP's.. they say- if they arent a good make, and are wrong in size that my lights can dim, radio will be lower, a/c will suck.. there was a list of negatives..
Is the steeda UDP's good? i dont wanna regret buying them down the road.. is that money a waste? should i save it for UCA/LCA? or Sway bars?

Hah, redfire, no worries- but my buddy that has a Centri blown 06 GT auto.. he has 4.10s' or should i say- his dad has 4.10s.. and they keep tryin 2 push me to 4.10s.. imma be fine with 3.73s for the mean time, im not racing it regularly. i might take it back to the track once i get my gears installed, udp's.. and some suspension done to it.. i want to get close to hitting a 13.0.. anyone think its possible? with what mods?

Life is not a dress rehearsal. The curtain goes up and the play begins. It is obvious from this and several other of your posts there is some thinking going on in your head and this is a good thing. There is also evidence of thinking something out and adding prudence to come up with a good decision. You have had some fun with the car and now it is time to sacrifice and spend the time to get through school and do well. The payoff will come. How do I know this, well I am old and I know a lot of things (LOL). Also, take a look around at your peers. They cannot read, spell, want everything now, do not know the value of a dollar, because they are "gifted" and need to have someone tell them what direction is up. Now you on the other hand are going to get an education and work hard for it. Who do you think the company will look to when it comes time to hire someone and put responsibility in their hands - and subsequently pay them. That's right, YOU. Keep up the good work and the thinking. It is hard work and effort now and not fun, but this I can say with accuracy - the payoff is most enjoyable.
THanks Vintage, every statement above is prettymuch dead on.. all my friends dont kno the value of a dollar- example.. a 16 yr old kid i know got a brand new 06 Evo IX MR, top of the line.. got intake, headers, exhaust, coilovers, etc.. new clutch, all the goodies, new rear bumper, new carbon fiber lip.. much more anyhow- he just gets 500-1000 dollars a month or every other month from his dad. they are divorced.. anyhow, he has no idea how lucky he is and doesnt have to really work for anything.. although he has a job- he can quit tomorrow morning and not give a crap. its nice, but at the same time, i wouldnt want that to be the case for me.. id rather have responsibility and work HARD for what i want in life..
but yes, you are right- the payoff in the end is the most enjoyable.. i look forward to this day(im studying to be a pharmacist)
