Default 3rd light switch position

On the '05+ headlight switch bezel, there appears to be a blanked off switch position to the right of the dash dimmer knob. Do some models have a switch located there for something? I,d like to put my lower yellow fog switch there and it would be simpler and cleaner if there is an existing switch for that position. Anyone know what that switch was supposed to control?

All that's supposed to be there is the switch and dimmer.

I popped the bezel out last week and it looks like there is a molded in switch retainer clip. The hole doesn't go thru to the interior tho. It may have just been a future use thing in the mold.

Or it might have been something in the prototype that wasn't implemented.

Open the driver's door, snap off the dash end cover[no screws, just clicks in], reach in and push bexel out by hand. Once out you can push the wire connector latches to release the connectors.
