Default My car Accident

On last Wednesday my car has a small accident.

Actually it happened when a Lexus 430LS reverse back mistakenly while I was park and he hit the rear pumper.

The Damage is not so big but my car dealer advised me to purchase a new pumper and get it painted.

According to the below photos of the accident is it needed or there might be another solution?

Thanks!

I thought the bumper cover was ABS plastic???

If so just replace it.

That's what I thought too. From the third pic, it looks like you'll need a little quarter panel work done too.

That is exactly why you need splash guards. They would have protected that area.
Seriously don't you all have insurance? I sure hope the guy who hit you gives you the money for it.
You won't be able to repair bent plastic. It's going to cost you $500.00 + to have it replaced. Not to mention the small body work.

A deer did that to you too? What are the odds of that?

Why even question it. The other driver's insurance should pay for it.

That's right. Unless he's an uninsured motorist his insurance will cover it 100%. It's a moving violation so it's covered. If he was uninsured, sue him in small claims court for the damage. If he's driving a Lexus, he's capable of paying for it.

Look where he is from. I doubt the insurance situation in Saudi Arabia is the same as the US.

Even our insurance is different from state to state. Michigan is a "No Fault" state. Your insurance pays for your repairs, not the other drivers.

Good point... The other driver may have already been executed.
