Default GTO Headlight covers install question

Evenin all. This might not be the best spot for this but since it was not specific to the GT or V6 I wasn't sure where else to go. Anyway, here is what I would like to know......

I got the GTO smoked headlight covers a week or so ago and all I received in the box was the covers and an instruction sheet. I have to say the instruction sheet was a waste of paper. They tried to cover several different installs as generically as possible and it was pretty obvious that the instructions were written for the fox bodies and/or SN95s and hadn't been updated in long time.

How do these things install? I lifted the hood and the upper curled piece goes right into a pocket above the headlight. The rest around the sides and bottom kindof just snaps into what I believe to be the correct position but after I drive for a while the bottom and fender side pop out so you can see the little tab on the fender side of the cover. Do you use double sided tape on these or some other way to hold the bottom and fender side of the cover in tight? If so, I didn't receive any with the package.

Any direction/advice would be very helpful. Thanks!

Well they havent changed since the 5.0s! We used to stick velcro to these points and stick into place. But now weve found that its easier to just get the smoked headlights! After a couple of times of the breaking in cold or heat and falling off while driviing youll see what I mean...

Yeh, I think next year I will put in the blacked out projector lights.....I like the looks of those and I will still have good brights. I was coming home tonight and when I turned my brights on it was very very dim.....NOT GOOD! Dam near hit a deer!

They look great in daylight but pretty much suck other than that. At least it wasn't hundreds of dollars!
