Default Need new tires.

I plan on getting some new pirelli's(the OEM kind). I want to just get it done at a local tire place or garage. Anyone have any idea what I should be pay for them(including wheel balancing, etc)?

You might need more than those Pirelli's with the supercharger!

I know, I do...unfortunately I can't afford wide wheels in the back in slightly bigger ones in the front. My bank account is in intensive care, lol.

Definately want to go with 18x9,18x10s with Nitto 555s alla round.

I brought new Pirelli's at my local dealer. I told him I could get them at Tire Kingdom and he asked what I would pay for the 4. I told him - I think it was about $87 per tire. He beat the price - $85 plus balance.

What's tire kingdom? I could try that. I mean on tirerack, the pirelli's were about 85 a pop also. So I could use that.

I imagine it is. We may need the paddles to resurrect it.

Most tire places will beat any online price and include the mount and balance. I just got a set of Nitto 555 255/45 18's for 165 apiece out the door(mounted, balanced, and taxed). Cheapest place online that I could find was $175 apiece.

I would go this route also. After this price all you need is mount and ballance charges.

I just had a new set put on my car. I paid $99 each tire. I got it from a local Discount Tire. Check there web site www.discounttire.com

I agree with Mark. If you are stuck using the 17x8 factory wheels, I'd suggest the M&H 275/50-17 drag radials. These things hook like crazy (I run the M&H 325/45-17s). And don't let the 275 size bother you... they are actually a little undersized. The 275/50 M&Hs have a tread width of 8.8", and fit great on a 17x8 wheel. The 325s I run are 10.3" wide, and fit perfect on a 17x9 wheel.

I'm telling you... these are seriously nice drag radials. I'll never run anything else on the street. The set I have on my car now has about 10K miles on them, and they may be good for 1K or 2K more. That's good for a DR of this high quality.

My old Nitto street tires scared the crap outta me... these things make me feel a lot safer.
