Is this a direct bolt in with the American Thunder Mufflers i have already? Why is this combo so cheap compared to say Kooks LT Headers + Catted H pipe?
Which is better, ceramic or stainless for headers?

Kooks LT headers and catted H pipe, Steeda UDPs, delete plates, UCAs, LCAs, and Panhard brace, all waiting on time to install them
and are they all the same performance wise? Like Stainless isnt going to somehow hold a couple of ponies extra? If i remember correctly, the different coatings are just for heat reasons right? Stainless doesnt discolor like others do right?
Actually just tell me this, which is better overall, and for what reasons? Is there a simple answer?

Coatings will all eventually wear off or peel. When that happens, a mild steel header will rust. Stainless don't require coating. All are basicially the same performance-wise.

Rust like the shorty headers? Ive seen them get all orangey and brownish.. They will rust, but does that mean they will fall apart, or just look ugly? Im not realy a showcar kinda guy, so the ugly factory under the hood wont matter to me.

They won't look like the stock manifolds but over time they will rust and over a period of years, they will rust through.
damn that saying "you get what you pay for"... I was looking for a cheaper alternative then spending 1300+ on a LT setup w/ midpipe..
if you want a cheap 409 stainless setup look at american muscle JBA LT's with there mid-pipe package... total with the discount code is $645, and it is 409, which isnt the best stainless steel, but is a still a good stainless. They are not coated, but the way I look at it is, neither are the stock manifolds and those have worked for this long, right....

Don't get all hung up on header coatings. They aren't all they're cracked up to be.
Thank you for posting that... I was actually considering spending an extra $300 to get my headers coated. I'm glad that you posted that, because I really never thought they were that great anyways, but thought I was the only one. I think JBA will be my choice in a month or so!
