Arrow Any advice on New Bumper to get?

Would like some advice on a new bumper / fascia for my 2006 Mustang GT.

I have attached a picture of my car before the accident so you have an idea of what it looked liked beforehand. I'd normally not change the bumper but given I have to purchase a new one now, I'd like to explore options!

I don't want to get anything too ricey (lot of vents, fog lights, BIG obnoxious vents) but wouldn't mind something a little more retro or aggressive looking compared to the standard factory bumper.

Any ideas or advice is welcome. Thanks!

GT500 front fascia would go great on your car IMO

I was set on a Roush fascia for my GT, but lately I've been contemplating getting a gt500 front end with an offset tri-bar pony badge for the grill.... tough decisions when you plan on spending over 1k >_<

Check out Steeda's front fascia. Its slick and understated, looks stock at first glance until you look a lil closer. They have a fog light kit and a brake duct cooler kit that uintegrates into the fascia, so you get the look and the functionatliy.

I agree. That's what I did but not because of an accident. Check my gallery and avatar.

Id do gt500, then roush for sure.. those are the only two id do.. I like to keep my car all mustang parts, not some random company. I try to find that factory look, instead of tuner look yah know? Saleen has a pretty nice front end as well, you might wanna look at that.

Thanks everyone for the input.

I like the GT500 front end and think it gives the car a different personality... more of a refined looked with the slants and curves.

The Rousch gives more of an aggressive and brute force personality. This is truly going to be a hard decision!

Not for nothing though, I've had more people than I care call my car (to my face, not forums) Knight Rider. While I'd like to use logic and say that by adding the GT500 front end I'll hear it more than if I added the Rousch, I think in practicality it won't matter what front end I put on it... it's a black Mustang and will be called Knight Rider regardless.

Anyone give me ideas of prices for their front ends (those that replaced them with the above)?

At least they don't call it a Hot Wheels.

Gt500 is going to be expense regarless, same with roush because they are big names for mustangs. I guess u didnt like the idea of the chin spoiler but if u did, it is by far the cheapest route. chin spoiler is about 300 after paint and another 200 for the new bumper. just my 2-cents cuz you can always pull it off and make it look stock again or replace it if u damage it from curbs or decide to sell the car.
