Default 2007 GT pinstriping question

I purchased my car used & it had pinstriping already on it. The pinstripe is unique in that at the back of the car it has the running horse logo that starts out faded & then goes to a solid horse. I'm not a big fan of pinstriping but I'm curious as to if this was a dealer option or an "official' Ford pinstripe that was available when the car was purchased new. I've included a photo that shows the pinstriping pretty well if you save it so you can zoom in.

Aquacop:

Your pintstriping is very unique indeed. I have seen similar products in the web. I cannot recall this one. Many of the products that use the running logos must be "official" by Ford's decree. However, there are stores all over ebay that will duplicate any image you send them, that is how they circumvent the silly Ford demands.

Congrats on a very beautiful car.

Yeah, there's so much aftermarket available it's hard to say. Once I get back into the country I will go by a dealership & check with them.

Most dealerships use some vendor who installs tape type pinstriping. I wish dealers would give you the option on this mod but in your case the stripes look pretty good.

Most dealers will install this kind of pinstripe to just about any car.

If I find out that it was something that was a dealer option only for the Mustang then I may consider leaving it on. As I said, I'm not a huge fan of pinstriping but I don't mind this one too terribly bad.
