Default Dealing with no Mustang for 5 months

Well I have decided to move to Vail Colorado for the winter and have decided to leave the Mustang at home for 5 or more months. I am going to really miss it, but i wouldnt feel right driving it on windy snow mountain roads. This will be the first time since I got the car to be with out it. How do you guys deal with putting your car up for winter?

It's a real torture, not to drive the Stang for 5 months...Especially when you have to drive a Chevy Cobalt as winter beater...
