Title says it all, I'm still stock, but I'm gonna start modding soon. Some things I'll do myself and some things I won't.

One crucial thing I need to nail down is finding a good tuner to work with. And by good I don't necessarily mean well-known... I mean smart. I'm looking for someone in the The South-Eastern Arizona area but I'll make the drive as far as the San Diego area if I must....

Edit: Let me clarify. By tuner, I mean someone who has a speed shop and a dyno and a good head on their shoulders. Not to be confused with a programmer like SCT or Diablo.

OK, I'll look into them. I was actually hoping for something a little closer to home, but if comes down to it, I'd rather go the "extra miles" to get it done right.

How are you familiar with this shop and what more can you tell me about them? Are you affiliated with them at all? stlwagon - stmotorsports

Dante's Modular Performance in National City He is a ford senior master engine builder and tuner. He tuned my 03 Harley ed. F-150 supercharged and few of my friend's lightnings. Of course I have seen him tuning mustangs as well. Very nice guy will help you out with any questions you have and does mechanic work there aswell. Almost forgot he uses SCT tuning software.

I'm pretty familiar with ST Motorsports. Solid shop. Adam is one of the best tuners in SoCal. Just make sure you get a solid appointment time and stay patient. He isn't necessarily the quickest guy ever.

I can't honestly say that I'd let anyone in San Diego tune my car right now.

STL just nailed it, best tuner hands down. He might be hard to get by phone, but just tell John you want an apointment for a dyno tune.
