Tracking your Car Build and Shipping Dates

Does anybody know how to track your car being built?

i had e-mailed ford about this ( i already got mine) and the only thing they could tell me was the day it was built. i wanted to know the number down the line it was, but they said they dont keep track.

you will need to know this to call ford an check on the car. btw you work for the dealer that you orderd the car from

1. Your dealer code (the dealer number)

2. Your order number given to you by the dealer

3. Your body style (t80 for v6 t82 for v8)

4. The year of you car (eg 2005)

Once you know all that give them a ring at this number 1-800-962-3746
This is the VOPC number and its for dealers only.

I called the 800 number for my 05 and all they told me was that it was being built on 12/06 and it would be delivered the end of december

....I ordered my Oct 22 and I really need it now.

Thanks the dealer GAVE ME A NUMBER 1009 WHICH I GUESS IS THE ORDER NUMBER
IS THE DEALER CODE THE PHONE NUMBER?

thanks again it's only been 10 days since i ordered the car.a week ago tuesday

the dealer code is the number that ford uses to identify your dealer like a account number.you might ask the salesman what there code number is.

I called and they said mine is clean/'unscheduled. How musch longer I ordered on 10/08 any idea's.

remember that ford pulles orders on thursday so check friday.

Thanks for the telephone number Dave.....I called today and they said mine is scheduled to be built next week (week of dec 6) ..not great news... but a before christmas delivery is not out of the question

Thunder did you use a VIN# or order #? If you used an order number was it a number with a letter in front followed by 3 numbers. I called and they said nothing was scheduled for that order number but I went to my dealer last Monday and he told me they were building it.

I used order #....mine is 4 digits no letters...at top left of order form.
