Hey guys,
This is my first thread, so thanks for having me.
Like many others out there i'm still waiting, i ordered a v6 legendary lime, dark charcoal leather interior, man trans, iup, exterior sport package, shaker 500, gt look front grill w/fog lights.
Now with that said does anyone know of a dual exhaust upgrade out there for the v6?
I know what some might think, if i'm making it look like the GT why not get the GT?, all i have to say is i have a facincation with the v6.
thanks for hearing me out.
soon: 2005 v6 mustang
current: 95 v6 convertible, dual exhaust, cold air intake, 56mm throttle body, and still working on it.
Hey MIHMEDIC, your vehicle sounds very similar to the one I have. V6 Legend Lime, automatic, exterior sports package, charcoal gray leather interior, shaker 500. Check out the attached photos. I had the stripes done by graphic express in florida at no cost to me for them being able to use vehicle for ad purposes. The V6 has plenty of power at a lower cost and insurance than the GT.

Your best bet is to contact Saleen or Roush, and pick up a set of GT takeoffs, and fabricate an h-pipe.
Custom applications won't be long coming out. But for now, I think that's the most economical way to go . ..

I am just starting out myself. I own a 2005 torch red v-6 mustang, I will have pictures as soon as I figure this computer thing out. I found JBA true duals at V6mustangstuff.com. I am wondering will this be a better investmesnt than the magnaflow catback "Y" pipe dual exhaust. As I stated earlier, all this is fairly new to me so I don't know what would best overall investment.
Try v6mustang.com for several exhaust sytems. Anybody who can instruct me, as far as posting new threads it would be appreciated

Best 1/4 mile: 13.383 @ 102.84 MPH
I have dual flowmaster 40s on my v6. I had it done at a local shop I trust, where they do a lot of mustangs. Mine was the first 05 they had done though. They did 2.5" piping, h-pipe of course, and even cut the notch in my bumper. Have some nice K&N chrome tips on it. The 40s sound amazing. I get comments and looks everywhere I go. It definitely evened out my power ratio throughout gears. I was afraid I would lose some low end power, but I didn't. The whole thing set me back $550, I talked them down $100. I would recommend doing it if you can afford it. Was the first mod I did.
I just had a MAC dual exhaust system iinstalled on my 2 week old V6. The system was about $400 and a shop nearby charged $80 to cut out my rear bumper. It sounds like a muscle car now and has turned alot of heads. Next I am going to change my headers to MAC ceramic headers.
