Question Light covers and rear midsection panel cover??

I'm planning on getting headlight & taillight covers and this rear black panel from California mustang. My questions are:
1) how do you install these pieces?

2) If I have to use double sided tape...wont the tape damage the paint in the case of the rear panel cover? Furthermore, i live in steaming/humid south florida... wont the adhesive in the tape melt?

3)I've come across some panel covers that must be painted. Does anyone know if the one i've mentioned needs to be painted or is it made of the same material the head and tail lights are made of? The transparent material.

Thanks in advance guys!

Sorry, but as you point out I think there are too many "IF's". I'd be careful.
BTW, why do you want to "dim" your tail lights and brake lights? I'd be worried some 80 year old driver might not see your Stang braking.

I had the headlight covers and they didn't work for me. I had to send them back. The right side fit ok, but the gaps on my car on the right side were not the same so I it wouldn't fit. The headlight ones were suppose to just pop into place... not sure about those tail light covers.

Hope I didn't come across as short with reply, I would never talk anybody out of their mods, especially as some guys don't agree with mine either.

If you buy the '05 Pony, you do w/e feels right.
I just feel the blackouts make the car look a little "Import-ish". Also I love the paint colors FORD gave us, I can't see covering up all that sw33t metalic flake.

I have marker signal tint on my Stang and it looks great. It is a Vinyl tint from Blue Batmobile ( http://tinyurl.com/ck288 ). I believe that he also has the tint for the rear lenses.

I like the black panel in back, but NOT the tail lite treatments. Why dim your brake lites???

When my car gets here I will have my rear panel blacked out with a vinyl application. That will not hurt the paint sohould I decide to remove it later.

One done, it reminds me of the some of the classic stangs!

Well, I ordered one! They are at a pre-production price of $89.00 (plus $13.00 shipping). I don't know what the post pre-production price will be set at, but I bet it has to be alot more than what I paid. Now all I have to do is wait patiently (yeah right!) until it ships in mid-September. If you want one, they only have 24 units available at the special pre-production price for the next 4 days or so.
