Default Center Fog Lights Grill Installed!

Just got the grill in the other day, and looks sweet. The lights on my car are Saleen HID for the headlights and SilverStars for the driving lights.

What did you do to about the warping? Can't really see it in your pictures. Also, did you extend your wiring or figure out a way to make the stock wiring reach?

I think i have the same grille from Street Scene, they give you a new wiring harness to make the wiring reach. I also used an aftermarket HID system, but i didnt go with the saleen, it was 3x as much as mine. Plus i picked the bulbs i used, i like the 6000K bulbs

Thats a nice addition. But the one I looked at was warped on the bottom edge which would have left open gaps on the bumper cover.I'll wait until a better unit shows up.

Looks Great. What kind of chin spoiler is that? I don't think I've seen that one.

I like the look, however looking at the location of the lights in the center I wonder if one would have any overheating problems. Maybe on a N/A engine the airflow is no problem, but I would think with a supercharger those lights would have to be removed or offset from the center to get more airflow through the radiator. But the looks is nice.

Just my opiniong, but I would rather have the pony emblem over center fogs. The lights do look cool when they are on though!

Definitely not the one from SS.
This is an OEM style as opposed to the Home Depot mesh screen.

I ordered the same grill a few months back. The vendor got them in last week and rejected them back to the manufacturer for warping so I'm still waiting. How easy was the install? Any splicing needed? As for the overheating mentioned above - this grill flows 37% more air than stock because there are no blocked segments. I'm more worried about the hood lifting or fluttering.

For right now I have decided to live with it. I want to see what KSR does, then I will decide if I want to fix it or otherwise.

As for the wiring, I spliced in some 16g wire and soldered the connetions. Then wrapped the splices in shrink-tubing, then electrical tape, then black conduit (similiar to the factory wrapping)

That should keep the wiring protected.

It is the Shinoda chin spoiler. I like it, it is supposed to be functional, and it is different then what most people have (CDC).

I emailed KSR over the weekend and got a reply from them this morning. They said they were going to contact Butch about issuing a refund for returns. They also said they had recalled the entire batch that went out to all vendors.
