Exclamation California Dream Ground Effects Package!

I'm looking to get a nice body kit installed on my 05 yellow mustang but want to keep the beutiful look of my car, not make it some ricer looking thing. I also want to do it a t a fair price due to installation and paint adding on to the price of the kit. I found this kit at rksport and want to know if anyone can help me know more about this kit or thought of how it looks. Thank you!

i think the site tells you enough about it...as for my opinion...i think you better research that ground clearance...its pretty low bro....first pothole or speed bump and its gone

I've always liked there hood, but they can keep the rest of that body kit. Any speed bump will destroy that chin spoiler and those side skirts IMO.

I talked to the guys at rksport and they say its only 1.5 inches lower then the stock bumpers which is less then a drop kit. I dont think the height should give too many problems and that is also what they said.

Actually it looks low to the ground because this car picture has been suspension lowered. You can tell from the wheel wheels.
Besides the 07 stock GT/CS new model front facia is 1.5 inches lower the the stock GT. So if what the sales person said is correct, then it should be ok. I am also loooking for one for mine, but am consideriing the Street Scene II front with the SS I rear because I do not want to reoute the exhaust system.
You might also want to check to see if you would need to modify your exhaust system, because exhaust re-routing can get pretty expensive.

Also look at www.ponybuilder.com for different ground effect packages.

There is no need for any rerouting of the exhaust because the guy said that they had been in trouble for creating the rectangular tips on the exhaust since only camaro's and gto's had them as he said. So anyway they have created a valence that attaches to the rear bumper and keeps the round tips of the stock exhaust. Any input on how a valence looks instead of a whole new bumper? I dont feel that it will look as good.

the hood is okay, i think the rest of it looks cheap IMHO. the front end is all wrong for the stang. and what is with the side fender vents? she aint a ferrari. i have looked at a lot of effect packages (im also considering it) and i have found only three that i like that dont look like cheap tacked on crap, and keep the stang looking like a stang.

1. cervinis eleanor kit (but who could afford it)

2. Roush kit. (the jury is still out on the rear wing)

3. Street Scene kit. (i like the gen 2 front better than gen 1, but i like the gen 1 rear valence better than the gen 2)

bottom line though, its your car. only matters if you like it.

The Street Scene body kit looks very similar to the RK sport one. Will installation and paint be too hard? I mean is it worth it?

I loved the Razzi kit though the car is a little to low. But what the hell I love it.

I must admit, I love the hood (it is on the to do list) but do not care for the rest of the kit.
