Have you guys heard of the Facotry 5 GTM kit? They are famous for their A/C Cobra kits and now they are into the Budget Supercar kits. They say with a Donor C5 corvette and a Porshe transaxle you can build a 350-400 HP 2200Lbs street legal car for 30-40K. This sounds like a cool project, but its Chevy powered..but i guess you can modify it to be 5.4/4.6 Supercharged powered too.

I like that quite a bit. I might actually order the DVD/Brochure on that one. They make nice kit cars. I've always wanted to do a kit car. Most are based on a stretched Fiero platform. This looks a bit more involved.

The days of the fiero platforms in kit cars are long gone. I think all of Factory 5's cars are engineered from the ground up.

That thing is sweet. It reminds of a british kit I looked at recently that (with a turbo'd 350) out performs a McClaren. Can't remember the name...
