I just have a simple and quick question. I have put 12" racing stripes 2" apart on my baby and I needed some help with a little detail work. I have decided to accentuate the stripe with a thin stripe on the outside of my 12" stripes.
Now the question is how far should I go out from the 12" stripe? And, what size stripe shoul I use?
All opinions would be great and if anyone has pictures that would be awesome. Thanks for the help.

12" stripes...thats some wide stripes, dont think you'll need the pinstripes to "accentuate"
I have been wanting to put some 10"s on my baby, but i'm a little shaky on doing graphics (because of eventual fade or peel) and i'm sure painting will cost an arm and a leg.
Check out WhiteAngel's photo gallery. She has the same design goign on. Now I am not sure if her main stripes are 10" or 12", but you should PM her and have her measure the distance of her outside stripes and the distance they are from the main stripes.
allright don't brake my stones for using the word "eccentuate" I couldn't think of anyother word to use.
But I appreciate everyone's feedback.
I know the 12" stripe are pretty wide, but the pinstripe will bring it all together. People never really realize how wide our cars are, and trust me those stripes look insane when they are on.
When I get my car back I'll snap some pics and post them.
Thanks again

I had mine painted 10 3/4 on the main stripes with a tracer stripe on the inside & outside of the main stripe 1/4 inch away. There is a 4 1/2 inch gap in between down the middle. I think its just about right, lol,no i think its perfect, lol. Check my gallery for some pics.Brent
Mine are 10" wide with a 3" center gap with a 1/2" outer stripe that is has a 1/2" gap.

Your stripes are hot!! I want to move my fog lights to the

when I want to use them I will not get high beamed by every
driver out on the road!!

What is your gap on your 10 inch stripes? I went with a 1.5 " gap and 10 inch stripes also.
Uh, where are the pics of your new stripes? Do not leave us in suspense...not after we were with you all the way through getting the hood. We bonded with our respective hood issues...so please post new pics.
