 Will Trip Tunes Advanced system work with 05 Shaker 1000?
I have the Shaker 1000 in 05 GT. It has an aux button but nothing to aux with-yet. Ford announced a new "Trip Tunes Advanced system " ~$250 with $50 for wiring harness. It is supposed to work with your iPod/mp3 player so you can use radio dials to select tunes and control volume, etc. It is available on the 07 accessory list, but not on the 05 accessory list. Does anyone know if it will work with the 05 Shaker 1000?

Does anyone have a good suggestion for an alternative wiring solution that allows you to use the radio dials to control your iPod without disconnecting the 6-disc cd changer?
I know this was discussed before, but the solutions offered were for wiring up the mini-plug in which case, you still have to use the iPod to make song selections. I'm looking for an adapter that will allow full control of the iPod from the radio controls. |
