Default Looking to do some Mods

Does any one know of any place to do mods in Staten island/Jersey area???

Also, I was at Fette Ford in Jersey last nite and found out some interesting stuff about warranties. Basically, NO ONE TRUELY knows what does and does not void a warranty.
I spoke with 4 different service and salesmen and recieved 100 different answers. Answer ranging from "ANY mod done to the vehicle voids the entire warranty". To "the mod would only void that part of the warranty". To, "I am not really sure what would happen". To, "As long as the dealer does it, it is covered".
Here was an interesting one. One service guy also said, "even though the dealer is selling the car with mods already in(saleen and Such), these things were not neseccarily covered under warranty."

Basically, I am confused as all hell. So, I am just gonna do my mods and not worry about it.

Default RE: Warranty

Do a google search on the Magnuson Moss act. Basically says that in order for your warranty to be voided, the dealer has to be able to prove that whatever was wrong with the car was a direct result of the mod you installed. Example: Dealer can't void your warranty because you installed a cold air intake and brought the car in for a power steering problem (the two have nothing to do with eachother). Just mentioning Magnuson Moss to a dealer may make their sphyncter muscle pucker a little...LOL.
