I want to lower my stang but is there no lowering a stang than just putting on the springs? I was talking to some guys and they said I would have to get and adjustable panhard bar and adjustable lcr's and ucr's. In all it was about 1500 dollars for everything. Is this true?
The LCAs and UCA are not absolutely required but are a good idea to maintain proper pinion angle on the drivetrain. The adj panhard rod is sometimes needed to compensate for lateral movement of the axle. Another thing not included above is possible need for camber bolts or plates to properly align (add another $50-$300). For Springs, LCAs, UCA, panhard rod, and camber bolts you'd be looking at around $650-$700 for parts. If you're charged another $800 for labor, you're getting robbed.
Yes they do but unfortunately nothing that includes everything he needs. They have a nice lowering pkg that includes the springs, shocks, sways, & PR but no LCAs or UCA. They also have a drag pack than includes LCAs, UCA, relo brackets.
I did the springs without any of the other stuff. Not saying that is the BEST choice, as I'm still trying to determine whether I need an adjustable PH bar or not.
So far, no pulling or anything negative. But much better looks and handling.
Based on other posts, I'd say quite a few people have done the same.
I went with Steeda Sports, BTW.

I have the Eibach pro kit and when I first installed my springs I didn't change out the uca, the lca's or the panhard bar. With the stock uca and lca's I noticed a shake or shimmy at speeds over 75 MPH. After correcting the pinion angle with a new uca and lca's all was well.
how do you set the pinion angle in the garage????? is there a specific way you did it or do i need to consult my dealer???? thank you in advance for the info

stl did you lower yours by your self. I guess if you want to do it right go with everything. Do you think I can get the springs then do the other stuff at a different time? Friend of mine builds race cars so he could help me I am sure he has all the tools I need.
