Default Need install advice for a Vortech v-2 sq trim supercharger

I just ordered this vortech s/c with some ford racing 3.73 gears and I plan on installing myself. Is there anyone who has insight on any issues that are commonly run into during the install? It is a kit w/ another predator a fuel pump, injectors and all the stuff. anything will help guys thanks. I know enough to get into and out of trouble

Unless you or your assistant are ring and pinion experts, I'd recommend you let a professional do it. Nothing worse than a whiny, improperly installed gear set. I've been through 4 in two years.

good 2 go with the information. I read a little about the gears and they do seem to be a bit out of my scope. thanks

+1 on having the expert do the gears. And that doesn't mean your neighborhood mechanic. Get someone who specializes in ring and pinions. I've been through more sets of gears than stlwagon and I can tell you it SUCKS to have whining gears. Although 3.73s are inherently less noisy than 4.10s.

Be extra careful when tapping the oil pan & make sure you have a good safe tune.

Yeah... It'll likely be very conservative and on the rich-side so you'll be fine. A good dyno tune would do you good down the road.
