Added MyColor instrument cluster to my 2005 Mustang GT
I bought a Mustang instrument cluster on eBay. Paid $102.00 plus $30.00 shipping. It is the MyColor cluster. I bought the 3 button switch from Ford ($93.00), plugged everything in and it works. Very cool and lots more information than the regular gauge cluster.

awesome, have you had it make any noise around 70mph? there were some others that said swaps like that had a bell noise whenever the car hit or passed 70 mph and you could not turn it off.
Just wondering, cause I was considering the same switch for my baby...

Nope, had it up to 110 mph and no probs.

could you post the link of where you got it... I know ebay, but I looked and didnt see any. I dont know what the gauge assembly looks like.

That was a good deal. Did the odometer show up the same because I heard that you had to take them to the dealer and have them programed. Thats why I haven't installed a GT500 cluster yet.
The techie at the local Ford dealership said that if it was a new cluster, he can download the info from the old and copy it to the new, but that he couldn't (or wasn't supposed to) change the mileage on a cluster with miles on it. So now my car says it has 11,000 and change where the old cluster read 32850 or thereabouts.

I have the same cluster, and I'm going to put it on when I get back from this deployment. The teckie said he wasn't suppose to change the milage on the instrument panel or he couldn't?
