Default Opinions of Maximum Motorsports for suspension mods?

Hey all,
A local tuner (Modular Powerhouse, near Atlanta, GA) recommended that I check out Maximum Motorsports for some suspension modifications. I am planning on using the car 95% for a daily driver, with some track time thrown in in driver's education classes and the like. Maximum Motorsports has a starter kit with Bilstein HD dampers and H&R Race springs, an adjustable panhard bar, and some caster-camber plates. Does anyone have any thoughts on Maximum Motorsports, the Bilstein HD's, and/or H&R springs on an S197?
Many thanks,
Blaise

MM is one of the best suspension companies out there. I have used all of their parts and one time or another, and will continue to do so in the future.

Don't know anyone running Bilsteins on the S197 but they're great dampers.

Bilstein has just recently come out with a setup for our cars. The Tokico D-Spec seems to be the one of choise now. But that can change. I had the Bilstein shocks on my 85 vette with the handling package.

I had Bilstein dampeners with H&R race springs and the ride was very very stiff on my Notch. I would continuously lift the inside tire on the course. The car handled very well, but I hated driving on the street. I'm not sure how the s197 will react to the same setup, but I would guess it will be very stiff for a daily driver.

Unless your lowering it or planning on roundee round or some kind of racing I wouldn't change the struts and shocks.
