Default Illuminated horse in the grill - anyone see them?

I was driving last night and looked in my rear view, saw the 4 lights but I saw the horse lit up in the center, nothing gawdy but I thought it looked pretty nice in the mirror lol. Anyone see anything like that online/person?

I think it would be pretty cool. Maybe just for shows, dunno, would have to see it.

Did the whole thing glow or was it just highlighted?

I remember seeing it (shown in two photos: lit up and not) in either a novelty catalog or an ad in the back of a magazine at least a year or more ago: bulb-lit running pony that replaces the chrome pony in the Mustang's grille. I initially thought it was kinda cool, but soured on it after thinking about it. Would only look good when lit at night. Any other time the standard chrome pony would look much better than its molded plastic light cover. It was more of a gimmick than anything. And it didn't look as detailed as the chrome pony.

Oh yeah x2 if it's a clear casing. But this guys looked like it was illuminated around the pony, just bright. If it were a frame around the chrome horse i think it'd be nice. An all clearish pony during the day would look cheap.

I thought the same tihng when I read the title. I chalk up anything glowing on the outside of a car to be a bit ricey(except headlights and tailights of course :-P )

Ricey and probably illegal if it is a colored light.

Found this on the web. Guy has a 66 and was talking about things he did to it.
"
The first picture you see is my Illuminated Grill Pony part #C6ZZ-8B366-A. It really enhances the apperance of the car, especially at night. This was a dealer installed option in 1966. Beware if you are looking to buy one. There are many phonies out there. Be sure to check for Ford part numbers on any item you are interested in."
