Question 2005 Mustang GT... What horsepower from these modifications?

hello, i have a 2005 mustang gt. and am planning the following mods. steeda cai with elbow, and sct 91 octane tune. steeda underdrive pullies, jba mufflers. can anyone give me an idea how much horsepower i can expect at the rear wheels? at least 300 real horse is my goal with this car. also was thinking about a bigger throttle body, any horsepower there? thanks.

I'd say in the 280-285 range. Throttle body won't net you much until until you start adding things that will process the additional air (long tube headers, heads, cams etc).

When I had a JLT intake and tune along with aftermarket mufflers I pulled 284. When I added an offroad H pipe and revised tune I pulled 296. I then added pullies, delete plates, and 4.10 gears and pulled 303. At that point I got tired of bolt-ons and went to forced induction with the numbers listed in my sig.

And this is with a 5 speed manual not an auto.

LOL thanks...... after putting the blower on, I wondered why I spent so much on bolt-ons to begin with. Sure the blower did cost more, but gaining 150+ hp at one time was like, well....... WOW!

well, it depends on where and what type of dyno you use. But i'm guessing in the 280's range also.

280s on an unloaded dynojet. 260s on a MD or Superflow.

I really wish I could have went that way, but I would be on pins and needles thinking that the engine would blow up on me without the forged internals. That's impressive though.

Some times you just have to roll the dice.

If you add the motion deletes, expect about another 10rwhp and some loose rwtq on the low end and they recommend gears, mine didn't though.

I would guess somewhere in the 295-300 rwhp range.
