Greeville Ford right outside of Dallas, TX is highly recommended. I got my 2007 Shelby GT from them for $1000 UNDER sticker May of last year. At that time the dealers around here were wanting about $8K more for the same car. Also good guys working there. I did the whole deal over the phone when I traded in my '05. They also gave me a pretty good deal on that trade in.
Maroone Ford of Margate
Margate Florida
buying a car? see anthony amuengal. he is the fleet manager and believes in a handshake.
service? see rich bennis. service director. mod friendly and great guy.
Either one of these guys tell them shane from harley sent you.
I recommend the sales dept (especially Internet sales) at:
Mullinax Ford, North Canton, OH.
They were the ONLY internet department, of 5 or 6 dealerships I sent online requests to, who actually read my requirements, and found what I wanted within an hour or so. All the others (mostly cleveland dealerships) lied and said "we can't find that combination in a 300 mile radius... but we have THIS one on our lot!" and gave a completely different set of options to what I wanted.
However, based on my first experience with their service department, I can't fully recommend them for service, since they managed to strip one of my Lug pins, while performing the simple job of putting on the locking wheel nut kit for me.
They did fill up my gas for the extra distance I had to drive to get this lug pin replaced the next week however...
i recommend town and country ford in louisville ky. they were helpful when purchasing my 03 cobra. carmax in louisville ky is also a good dealer..i bought one of my gt's there
i would stay away from bill collins ford in louisville ky. they are a larger dealer, and not very people friendly. having said that, they are usually one of the first dealers to have the roush/saleen/shelby products. i got my tungsten here since it was the only place i could find it. (they do have a good repair service that is pretty large.(larger than most, and do more work in a day than others. you get your car back sooner)
lastly, carriage ford in clarksville indiana. the servie dept. was nice, but some people there are assholes. i was interested in a bullitt they had, and they pretty much told me to "play by our rules, or go home. its a rare car, and we are one of the only ones with it"
Bought my mustang there a month ago and the sales guy I talked to really worked with me on what I wanted in my car and wasn't pushy at all. We were lookin at the different colors and when I pointed out the one I wanted and ended up getting, the first thing he says is wait here let me go get the keys. Went for a test drive right away and didn't have to fill out any paperwork crap. He got right to the point of what I wanted to do. Very impressed with how well they worked with me on what I wanted. I highly recommend them. If you wanna know the guy I talked to just let me know and I'll give ya his name and number.
The sales staff is top notch as is the administration staff. I was impressed with their non pressure attitude when I purchased my 2007 GT from them in April of 2006.
Service department is excellent and they always give my car the white glove treatment when it's in for any kind of service. When my Mustang is paid off and I entertain the thought of buying a new car for my daily driver, I will be buying it from them.
Purchased my previous '05 Mustang GT from Gulf Coast Ford in Angleton, TX (Hwy 288). Not a bad sales experience. No post-sales experience to report.
Purchased my '07 Mustang from Grand Prairie Ford in Grand Prairie, TX. Initial sales experience good, follow up not 100%. Extensive performance arsenal on site, both in new Roush machines and their performance shop.
Warranty work performed well at Mac Haik Ford in Houston, TX (I-10 @ Gessner). Replaced problematic parts without giving me the runaround, and there were no mystery road test miles on the car when returned tome.
I've got one to add to this list. Marshall Mize Ford in Hixson TN (near Chattanooga). Took my Stang in for the airbag recall and had them fix passenger door handle and they treated my car like the precious thing it is. In fact, when I picked it up they had it parked all by itself so doors of other cars wouldn't be a problem. Oh . . . . they treated me pretty nice too.
I have to vote for the Dealer I have worked at the past 33 years. I have been Parts Manager for 11 years the rest as Assitant Manager. What makes our company special to me is the longeviety of our employees. The Service Manager 40 years. My Assistant Manger 30+ years. I have a combined over 135 years in Ford parts on my staff. The Sales and Service staff is much the same. Family owned and operated. Ben Satcher Motors Inc 1201 West Main St. Lexington SC 29072 www.bensatcherford.com

I just bought my 2008 Mustang GT from Long Lewis Ford in Birmingham (Hoover), AL. They have been selling Ford's since 1911. They have a beautifully restored Model-T in the showroom. My experience was great. No pressure. Of course, I went in knowing what I wanted, but everyone was very nice. They did all the work for me.
