Suprise, suprise.... at least it was a cop that stopped him, as opposed to a tree or hydro pole...

Me and parents had a similiar deal back in the day about insurance, if I got a ticket, especially for 147, I would lose more than my car, meaning a social life for a very long time.

Congrats, great deal. I bought my 05 GT last year for $25,000 and have had a blast adding all the mods. Good luck and keep it between the lines!

You or your kid got a ticket for 147mph?

That sounds about right. Actually, it's better than what I got. I paid 22K for a 05 that had about 4600 miles on it. Now it has close to 20K, but hey, I didn't buy it to look at it.

Holy crap... I was scared as hell to look into this thread after reading the topic...

I JUST bought a 2006 GT premium with 5700 miles for $23,120!!! After reading you paid $22k for 3k miles, I felt like I got shafted but, its nice to hear everyone say "you got a good deal" so then that would mean that even if I didn't get a deal, there's no way I got shafted... I at most broke even.

Mine does have a cold air induction kit, aftermarket Motorola bluetooth system and has been lowered already prior to purchase. So, seems we both got a deal...

congrats to both of us!

Sounds like, for the low miles, you did get a good deal! The best deal I saw on a used '06 GT stang (b4 I bought my new V6 back on Nov. 3rd) was a redfire with black leather and shaker 1000, excellent paint with 16K miles for 17,200 from a local ford dealer here in Mississippi.

Oof... I can't deal with silver cars. And IMO, these Mustangs look best in black... like AC/DC. If I had to choose one other color, it'd be a nice dark metallic red one... ooooooh yeah...

If you have the extra cash laying around get a GT-500. Going to cost $50K+.

I don't HAVE the cash lying around....I WISH..... BUT IM THINKING FOR A USED STANG. ABOUT 10000 OR LESS, I'D LIKE TO PUT TIME AND MONEY TO GIVE THE CAR MEANING. SO WHAT OTHER CHOICES DO I HAVE? and I really apreciate your guys opinions.
