Seems some people got pretty good deals on their stangs. comparing prices paid is like looking thru the sales flyers after buying a tv - of course you are going to run into some better prices. A lot depends on area you live - especially in this economy.

2007 GT 5-spd w/12k mi, 100% stock, 1 yr left on warranty price out the door - 23k.

Fact it was a gift and I have the title w/no lien - priceless.

With all the wonderful "change" goin on in washington I just hope I'll be able to buy gas for it a year from now...

Im 17 and I got both of my V6's under 18000. My first was a Vista Blue. Now I have my Torch Red. I pay my parents a little bit of money for the car payment. I think you got a good deal. But i have seen GT's for as low as 19000. But congratulations.

Its all about timing.

Bought a new 2008 GT last October. Ford Cash back incentives totalled 5,500 dollars. Dealer let me have it for invoice. Cost to me for the car before the mafia got their cut... about 21,600. So is an 06 a good deal at 22,000? Maybe. But its worth it to research your options.

My car was 30k in July of 06, we ended up getting them down to 28,8k. My Mustang had all the options at the time, except for the Shaker 1000 audio. It also had black tape stripes the dealer installed.

There are definately deals to be had you just gotta take your time and have some patience.... In January of this year I purchased my 07 GT/CS shaker 1000 fully loaded for 17.8k... althought it had 24k miles on the odo i felt it was a pretty good deal ..

I also don't understand why the 2010's are about on average 5k more than the previous year for brand new..........
