Default 2010 Mustang GT Differential Problem

This car has less than 2,500 miles on it - vibration between 62-70 MPH - Ford thought it was a drive train problem, turns out it is a differential problem - ring and pinion - clearance problem. Anyone having this problem? Ford now tells me that they won't get the part for another month and it is okay to drive this car. I am not convinced.

That's BS. i can't see them taking a month to get a part for it. You could probably still drive it but just don't take it to the mph where it vibrates. Also try another ford dealership.

Not uncommon for the 8.8" but it is such a common differential that parts should be easy to come by.

Where the hell are you located? If the dealer is located ontop of a lonely mountain in the middle of the Canadian highlands not accessible by road, I'd give Ford there month. But a new car under warranty with a differential problem...? I don't see how they can't get that part within a week.

Is this the dealer you bought your car at? I've noticed that if you bring it to other Ford dealers even under the same franchise won't give much bother to your vehicle. Try going to the original dealer. They'll be happy to help you out.
