I was waxing my new
stang over the weekend, and I noticed something. The front, lower, side amber parking light len's on both sides seem to be poking through the fiber glass on the front bumper. Almost like they where not set in far enough when the original fiber glass bumper was put together. From standing up, you can't see it, Yet..... But waxing the car, I get close to the body all over and I can see how there is a black line starting to form around the painted fiberglass insert that holds the lens.
I will have to take some pics soon, but I am working 12 hour shifts for 13 days straight starting tomorrow so I will get them ASAP.
I guess I was just wondering if you guys could have a look and see if you are having the same issue. Also, this seems like something that might be covered under warranty. I hope so. it's not a huge deal now, but I know it's something thats going to become an issue later on. Say a year or two from now. I don't drive my car much and I am not keen on the idea of repainting a bumper on a two year old
stang with 10K miles.
Thoughts please. Thanks fellas.
