ditto. The light looks too small in comparison to the headlihgt right next to it, the Chrome is too blingy and using an amber lens is to far retro for my liking.

If they need to put a light there, it should take up more space vertically to somewhat match the size of the headlight, the surrounding trim should be body color and the lens should be clear with an amber light bulb behind it.

It's going to be what it's going to be. I just hope the mod parts aren't compatable with the s197's. Then we can buy some parts cheaper.

I wonder what that small button in front of the shifter is? Looks like it is on an ash tray almost (not available in California, standard option in North Carolina). And I just hope the panel in the dash with the square vents is compatible with the old panel with the round. Cause that would be my very first mod. Well, right after yanking all that vinyl and tape off.

I saw some pics before and don't like the tail lites, it looks like a retractable rear antena, different hood and the angle of the front bumper cover between the headlite and grill is like the GT500. But we'll see what happens.

That automatic antenna has got to go... I bet the antenna is made in China too. Looks like they shortened the bonnet and decklid. Interior will no longer be the same. We are definitely headed into a 70's era style with a few futuristic turns. V6 version definitely needs change while the GT does need more punch to sell. HP sells cars, torque wins races. So why not have both?

Just to clearfy, Roda America is a race track, not an event.

One great race track but we always treated it as an event. First time I was there was in '65' and saw the 427 Cobras run for the first time there, just amazing.

As to the Mustang, sure Ford is looking at motor options, maybe the mod 302. It's sure been proven to last on the road circuit and have the power. The looks might have to grow on me.

First of all, thanks for sharing the pics.

Single tailpipe indicates this is the base V6 version.

Geez! Could they cover any more of the dash?
Even so, can still see the odd-looking rectangular center AC vent.

The 3-segment taillights with backup lights in between should look good with sequentials. Note that bottom edge of taillights angle up towards the outside of the car. Does the bumber also angle up around the taillights?

I like the rear antenna location better and I'm okay if it's retractable.

Thanks fo putting those up. Pretty hard to tell just what is under there. Kind of looks like they rounded off the rear of the car up a bit. Would have liked to see what that interior is looking like.

I'm glad I didn't wait to buy a 2010 model. I'm happy with what I have.

Your right the rear decklid is alot shorter and IMO it looks like crap! The revised rear deck is way too short for the proportions for the rest of the car. The mirrors don't match the style and the interior........well thats doodoo also. They should have had a total redesign if they wanted a model change and not alter something that was already perfect. They went and put a mustache on the Mona Lisa.
