hi everyone im mikegt from guadalajara, mexico i have a 82 ht mustang but i want i know what is the time in 1/4 of mile 2010 gt mustang ???

last night i saw a gt 2010 automatic and thes best time was a 15.50 i think its so slow i dont know the reason. what you think about this???

A 5 Speed 2010 can run low 13's with a good driver. Mid 13's with an OK driver and as slow as anyone else can drive it. I read about one doing 13.3 bone stock with 373 gears in less than ideal weather. 15s??? Im sure it has happened but that time is not representative of how a well driven one can run.

When i went to the track about 2 weeks ago i was running beside one. It ran a 13.8x but i remember it having a 2.2 or 2.3 60'. To my knowledge it was stock, sounded stock, and 5 speed. But....i did leave it behind a few car lengths. I have a vid of it too.

I think Ford needs to decide to drop the 3.31 gear ration and only offer 3.55 and 3.73.

well the 3.31's help the mustang stay away from gas guzzler taxes. actually, i heard that there is a 1k gas guzzler tax on the 2010 mustang GT hidden on the window sticker but i have yet to see it first hand.

But its not all gearing, the BOAT (aka challenger) has 3.08 gears and still has a gas guzzler tax of $2,100 i believe

Well the Gas Guzzler tax afflicts any car with an average MPG below 20. The 2010 GT gets an average of 19. But the dealer I went to I think recorded it down as 20 since it's on the line and waived the 1000 tax.

But with 3.73 gears you would save MPG in city driving like I'm usually in.
