2010 Mustang GT Engine compartment light?

I was finally able to bring my new GT home today. After a few stops to show it off, got home just after the sun had set. I popped the hood to show my neighbor the engine. Only problem was it was to dark to see anything. I was surprised to see there was no light under the hood. Wondering if any other 2010 owners could let me know if they have a light under their hood.

Hasn't been a light under the hood of a mustang in about 15 years. You were wishfully thinking.

Love the car, time to modify it now.

Love the car. Nice to see i was not the only one, who liked the Kona Blue, and White stripe.

I get mine from ford in about 3 weeks. Stupid excited, then come the mod's. lol

Yeah, I like the color combo. The dealer I had it delivered to said so many people stopped to look at it that they ordered the exact same car with all the same options including color and stripe.

As much as I like Kona Blue, I have a feeling there will be a TON of them on the road. I don't think that will matter though

I think of it this way, "There might be alot of them out there, just like Blondes, but Hey you never get Tired of looking at the really good ones."

I am sure something will be different, wheather it be an accesory or hood scoop or wheels. The one thing that you can say is it is yours!!! At the end of the day that is all that really matters!

The link is a pic of what mine will look like, the color you have the hook / scoop only stripe.

Then alot on the sides, and wheels.

When i ordered, it was funny, they were like, you want
Loevers / Scoop / Window covers

I was like YeAH why would they put it in the catelog if i shouldnt get it.

I ordered mine when I was in Iraq. The guy there just added what I asked for. I just played with the ford web site until I was content. Did you order the Premuim GT? The ambient lighting in the interior is neat. The sync is cool as well. I just passed the 100 mile mark today. It had 14 on it when it got to the dealer. My boss was impressed with the sequential tail lights.

Same Decal as yours On Hood / Scoop

Tinted to 30% (or what ever they said legal was)
373 Rear
19 Painted Wheels / Crome (These are getting powdercoated)
Rear Camera
Lojack (Sat)Installed
Alarm Installed
Security Package

Yeah i have about 2-3 weeks, till i get my hands on it, then have to drive it kind of nice fo the first 1000K according to everyone.

Then at about 10K, already looking at Supercharger from Roshe

I really like that spoiler. I wanted to get that, but I was not sure what it was gonna look like. Never found any pics of it. Looks great.

Kona Blue is the best

Love it with the stripes.

I see you stuck with the 18 inch wheels. Are you planning to get other wheels or did you just like the 18's? I stuck with the 18's too. I like them, but I plan to put on aftermarket wheels next year.

That hood scoops is wild!

Well welcome home as well my friend!! What branch and where in Iraq were you? I was at Al Asad. Been in the Marines for 17 years.

I thought I would have to drive it easy for the first 500 miles. I read the owners manual and it says there is no need to have a break-in period. Only to vary driving speeds and not to tow anything for 1000 miles. Do not have to worry about ever towing anything with it. LOL!

You are going to love the car! It will be worth the wait. When you get it post some pictures for us to see!

Thanks, I saw some pics of yours as well. It looks great.

I plan on keeping the 18 inch wheels for now. I just liked them the best.

I got lucky with the spoiler. I say that because it was what was on Ford's build and price it web site. Luckly it lists the GT Accessory Package 5 as advertised. I was a tiny bit disappointed that the over top stripe did not come down the front bumper like the web site shows. Also the stone interior they show on the site looks grey. When I got the car it is more of a tan color. The slight disappointment is a distant memory. Plan to clean her up this weekend and post some better photos.

mine is a blue and at a certain angle it has a purple tint color to it.
